Planning services

Planning services are provided across the sectors of non-government and international education, higher education and vocational education and training and include initiatives that improve collaboration between the sectors. The Non-Government Schools Planning Advisory Committee provides advice to the Minister on applications to expand the non-government school sector.

The Department supports the Minister, Government and other bodies though the provision of expert advice on the issues that affect quality in these sectors in Western Australia.  The Department also conducts reviews of education and training legislation as required and develops new and amending Bills to support changes in legislation where requested.
