To satisfy the many enquiries the Department of Education Services receives for advice about the choice of a non-government school, a checklist of factors that many parents regard as important is provided in the department’s publication, A Guide for Parents. The information provided in the guide may help parents to isolate several schools to compare and examine in greater detail.

After considering the information, parents should then contact the schools they are interested in to obtain more detailed information.
