Applying for registration/re-registration to offer courses to international students
The Education Service Providers (Full Fee Overseas Students) Registration Act 1991 (ESPRA) is administered by the Department of Education Services. The Department also has delegated responsibility for ensuring that providers are compliant with the Commonwealth Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000 and the related National Code of Practice for Registration Authorities and Providers of Education and Training to Oversaes Students 2007.
Under the ESPRA and ESOS an overseas student means a student who is in Australia on a student visa under the Commonwealth Migration Act 1958.
