Universities
Universities are autonomous, self-accrediting institutions and as such are outside of the Department’s jurisdiction. All universities have grievance procedures in place and any complaint that a student may have against the university at which they are enrolled, should be directed to those internal mechanisms in the first instance. Should you have exhausted those avenues and still feel that your complaint as not been adequately addressed, you can put your concerns in writing to the Minister for Education and Training or contact the State Ombudsman at the following address:
