Administrative framework

The Department of Education Services comprises three operational directorates, each responsible to the Chief Executive Officer:

  • Corporate Governance and Non-Government Schools
  • Higher Education and Legislative Review;
  • Education and Training Regulation

Two Ministerial advisory councils - the Aboriginal Education and Training Advisory Council and the Rural and Remote Education Advisory Council – operate from the Department with executive and other support provided.
